Navigation

Experienced in north China seaway transits and port entry-exit

Some of the world's busiest shipping lanes for port calls are in the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea

We help our clients plan for applicable vessel traffic service (VTS), traffic separation schemes (TSS) and port approaches. These include rules for fairway channels, pilot boarding stations and anchorages.

Metocean

Knowledgeable about Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea weather conditions

Wave, fog and ice conditions affect vessel and port performance

We alert clients to schedule impacts from adverse seasonal weather.

Weather is rougher in the autumn than in the spring. In the Yellow and Bohai Seas, wave and swell heights greater than 3.5 metres have a less than 5% occurrence in monsoon periods. Sea fogs occur between March and July, with a frequency of up to 15% in coastal waters in May from Shanghai to Qingdao. Ice forms along the whole of the Bohai Sea and the northern part of the Yellow Sea between November and March.
